Madhya Pradesh has 29 parliamentary constituencies: Morena, Bhind, Gwalior, Guna, Sagar, Tikamgarh, Damoh, Khajuraho, Satna, Rewa, Sidhi, Shahdol, Jabalpur, Mandla, Balaghat, Chhindwara, Hoshangabad, Vidisha, Bhopal, Rajgarh, Dewas, Ujjain, Mandsour, Ratlam, Dhar, Indore, Khargone, Khandwa, Betul. The state voted in the first four phases (April 19, April 26, May 7 and May 13) of the Lok Sabha elections 2024 to elect their representatives to the parliament. It recorded a turnout of 67.75% in the first phase, 58.59% in the second phase, 66.75% in the third phase, and 72.05% in the fourth phase. In 2019, the BJP won 28 seats and the Congress just one. The BJP also swept the assembly elections last year, bagging 163 out of the total 230 seats, while the Congress won 66.
