The wait is finally over. The much-awaited music album of superstar Rajinikanth aka Thalaivar's film 2.0 was launched at the Burj Park in Dubai, UAE yesterday night. Without any doubt, the grandeur of the event was something that just can't be missed. The lavish event began with some scintillating dance performances dedicated to Rajinikanth while actress Amy Jackson, who also features in 2.0, grooved to the beats of the first song from the film. Following Amy's performance, actor Akshay Kumar, who features as an antagonist in the film, set the stage ablaze. A R Rahman, who has composed 2.0's music, also rocked the stage.
The interesting part is that the album of the film has just three songs, written by Madhan Karky. Filmmaker Karan Johar hosted the Hindi segment of the music launch while Rana Daggubati and RJ Balaji were responsible for the Telugu and Tamil versions, respectively.
According to an Indian Express report, two songs have been composed keeping the core theme of the movie in mind. Song Endhira Logathu is about the romance between two robots. The lyrics reportedly indicate that it is being shot on Rajinikanth and Amy Jackson while the second track titled Raajali Nee Gaali has some similarities to the first song and is about the victory of good over evil.

Akshay Kumar's first collaboration with the Thalaivar is a point of interest for movie buffs while fans of the Bollywood Khiladi are waiting to witness him in 12 different looks. Rajinikanth will reportedly feature in five different roles.
The film is Directed by Shankar and is scheduled for the Republic Day weekend in 2018.
The reports are citing 2.0 as Asia's most expensive movie so far with a budget of Rs. 400 crore.
