On this day, 20 years ago, Bollywood fans saw some of the biggest actors in the country come together to weave a saga of love and loss. We are talking about Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham, which was released on December 14, 2001. From Poo's unabashed self-love and Rahul and Anjali's love story to the ensemble cast's easy excellence, the film gave us a lot that has withstood the test of time. And, not to forget the amazing costume ideas, songs and dance moves that are still a wedding favourite, 20 years later. On the film's 20th anniversary, Karan Johar shared glimpses of all this and more in a special tribute on Instagram.

The video also contains a snippet of Karan Johar's father, director-producer Yash Johar talking about how moved he was to see the tagline, “It is all about loving your parents.”  “I don't think anyone has ever given me a better gift in my life,” the late filmmaker can be heard saying in the clip.
