Filmmaker Vikram Kumar, best known for making Suriya's 24, got engaged to sound designer Srinidhi Venkatesh on Sunday at a private ceremony in Chennai.
"It was while working on 24 that they met for the first time and by the time they wrapped the project, they grew fond of each other. They got engaged in a close-knit ceremony on Sunday and are planning to get married in September," a source close to Vikram told IANS.
Srinidhi works as a sound designer with Oscar-winning musician AR Rahman, who composed music for 24.
Vikram will now work on his next project after the wedding. He will reportedly team up with actor Allu Arjun for a thriller.
