Princess of Wales Catherine aka Kate Middleton's uncle, Gary Goldsmith, has entered the British reality show Celebrity Big Brother 2024. Much to the delight of fans, he is not holding back even in the introduction video, spilling some Royal secrets. He can be heard talking about the first time he met Prince William. He said, “The first time I met William, Catherine was cooking. And William said, ‘Hi. Do you want a cup of tea? Very normal.” Talking about himself, Gary added, “I often read that people think I am a bit of a bad boy. It would be lovely to put the record straight that winding people up is probably my favourite hobby; every part of me is just riddled with mischief and danger, I'm absolutely a nightmare to live with.”

The official YouTube page of the show has also shared another video of Gary Goldsmith, in which he can be heard saying, "Hi. I am Gary. I am 59, nearly 60. And I am a London Boy. My pronouns are he/him. I happen to be related to probably one of the biggest celebrities on the planet, my lovely niece, Kate Middleton. I am white. It depends on what heels I am wearing, but I am generally 5'10. Underneath this fat layer, I am a ripped human. But currently, I am more cuddly."

1. Gary Goldsmith is the maternal uncle of Kate Middleton. He is the younger brother of Kate's mother, Carole Middleton.
2. As per a report shared by ITV, “Goldsmith is a millionaire businessman who made most of his money in recruitment.”
3. Gary Goldsmith was a guest at the royal wedding of Prince William and Catherine Middleton in 2011. He also notably attended the wedding of his niece, Pippa Middleton (Kate's sister), in 2017.
4. Gary Goldsmith has been married four times. As per a report published by The Sun, “His first wife was sales executive Miranda Foote. They married in 1991, but after splitting he went on to tie the knot with Luan in 1997, with whom he had a daughter, Tallulah. After that marriage broke down he wed his third wife, Julia Leake. Finally, he married his fourth wife Julie-Ann Brown in 2012.”
5. In 2017, Gary Goldsmith was arrested on suspicion of assaulting his wife, Julia Leake, on the street.
As per The Sun report, the royal family is not happy about Gary entering the show. A source told The Daily, “Gary said he's been read the riot act by Kate's mum Carole and her dad Michael. They aren't happy he's going into Celebrity Big Brother. It is infuriating for them. Kate doesn't need this stress.”
