Los Angeles:
The two teenagers who were arrested for breaking into rapper 50 Cent's mansion are not
burglars, but just fans who wanted to "hang out" at their idol's home, according to their families.
Alexander Hernandez and Santos Padilla were taken into custody for intruding into the In Da Club hitmaker's 52-room Connecticut mansion, reported TMZ online.Cops believe the intruders scaled a fence and entered the house through an unlocked door. Hernandez was found in a closet, drinking a bottle of wine taken from the rapper's collection and the pair was subsequently charged with third-degree burglary, second-degree criminal trespass and possession of marijuana. Bail was set at USD 50,000 for each of them.
But Hernandez's sister claims that her teenage brother had no intention of stealing anything, he just wanted to experience the "thrill" of getting inside the mansion so he could "hang out" there.
