New Delhi:
Kate Moss is being driven to tears because a 65-room palace is being built near the bottom of her garden. The supermodel lives with her husband Jamie Hince and daughter Lila in a Highgate mansion in north London.
However the 38-year-old clothes horse cannot bear with the level of disturbance attached to it.
A friend told the Daily Star newspaper: "The noise is constant. She just can't block it out."
Kate's house is listed so there is no opportunity to invest in double glazing to shield her and her 42-year-old partner.
Apparently the new property will include 25 bedrooms, 12 bathrooms and an imperial walnut-panelled grand ballroom.
The associate added: "Kate's been screaming, shouting and tearing her hair out with all the banging and noise."
It's not the first time she has experience home hell in her five-bedroom £8million abode.
It recently became riddled with damp, just two months after moving in.
Kate's friend said: "It's an amazing olde world house, which is why Kate fell in love with it in the first place, but it has a serious damp problem in the basement."
