New Delhi:
Gruesome paparazzi photographs of a dying Princess Diana are to be screened for the first time in a documentary at the Cannes Film Festival.
The photographs, which were taken in the moments after her 1997 car crash, will be included in a documentary titled Unlawful Killing, to be backed by actor Keith Allen, the father of pop singer Lily Allen, and Mohammed Al Fayed, whose son Dodi died with Princess Diana.
The graphic black and white close up of Diana, with short blonde hair and the features clearly visible, was taken right after the Mercedes carrying the couple crashed in a Paris underpass.
The website claims that the documentary is the story of the deaths of Princess Diana, Dodi Fayed and their driver Henri Paul and reveals a major cover-up by the British Establishment. It will expose vital evidence of foul play and major evidence hidden from public scrutiny.
Princess Diana's death has been a subject of much discussion over the decade since her death. An inquest, which found she was unlawfully killed and revealed scandalous royal secrets, has raised interest comparable to the royal wedding itself.
While the royals, including the Princes themselves, refuse to comment on this very personal aspect of their lives, Allen's film is due be screened amid a blaze of publicity at the festival. Mr Fayed is reported to be travelling to the south of France to help with the launch. Mr Fayed has accused Prince Philip of masterminding the crash and even suggested Prince Charles was involved.
He alleged the death plot took place to stop the princess marrying his Muslim son.
