Chennai: Oscar-winning composer A.R. Rahman, who managed to have a glimpse of one of the songs from superstar Rajinikanth-starrer Tamil period-drama Kochadaiyaan, describes it as "epic".
"(I) had a sneak preview of Rajini sir's motion capture results for one of the songs from Kochadaiyaan. (It) looks like animation on steroids! Epic," posted Rahman on his Twitter page.
Rahman has composed the music for the film, directed by Rajini's daughter Soundarya Ashwin.
Kochadaiyaanis said to be India's first film with motion capture technique along the lines of Hollywood films Tin Tin and AvatarI.
Also featuring R. Sarath Kumar, Aadi Pinisetty, Shobana, Jackie Shroff, Deepika Padukone and Nassar, it has been jointly produced by Eros International and Media One Global Entertainment. The film is currently in its post-production phase.
