Taapsee Pannu, who is all set to co-star with Shah Rukh Khan in Rajkumar Hirani's next project Dunki, shared a tweet, in which she wrote a quote from Shah Rukh Khan's 2007 film Om Shanti Om. Taapsee Pannu wrote: "Yes it's hard to make it till here, and it's harder when you are all by yourself but then a superstar once said "agar kisi cheez ko puri shiddat se chaaho toh puri kainaat usse tumse milane mein lag jaati hai" cheers to honesty, hard work and perseverance. Almost 10 saal lage but finally "All is Well" (If there is something that you want with your whole heart, then the universe helps you to attain that goal).

Shah Rukh Khan and Taapsee Pannu will co-star for the first time in Dunki. However, the 2019 film Badla, in which Taapsee co-starred with Amitabh Bachchan, was backed by Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan's Production house Red Chillies Entertainment.

Meanwhile, sharing the announcement video, Shah Rukh Khan wrote in his post: "Dear Rajkumar Hirani Sir, Aap toh Mere Santa Claus nikle. Aap shuru karo main time pe pahunch jaunga. Actually main toh set par hi rehne lagunga. Feeling humbled and excited to finally work with you. Bringing to you all Dunki in cinemas on 22nd December 2023.

Taapsee Pannu has starred in films like Game Over, Badla, Saand Ki Aankh and Mission Mangal. The actress is best-known for her performances in critically acclaimed as well as hit films like Pink, Naam Shabana, Soorma, Mulk and Manmarziyaan and Thappad. She will next star in Shabaash Mithu, based on the life of Indian women's cricket team captain Mithali Raj.

In the recent years, the actress was seen in Vinil Mathew's Haseen Dillruba, starring Vikrant Massey and Rashmi Rocket, in which she played the role of an athlete. She was last seen in Looop Lapeta with Tahir Raj Bhasin. It is a Hindi adaptation of the 1998 German hit Run Lola Run.
