Oscar-winning composer AR Rahman said he was "devastated" after hearing about singer-composer Aadesh Shrivastava's struggle against cancer.
Aadesh, whose cancer has relapsed for the third time, is undergoing treatment in Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital & Medical Research Institute in Mumbai since the last 45 days. (Also Read: Doctors Stop Chemotherapy on Critically Ill Aadesh Shrivastava )
Mr Rahman tweeted:
Aadesh has composed music for films such as Chalte Chalte, Baabul, Baghban, Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham and Raajneeti. He is married to actress-singer Vijayata Pandit.
Melody queen Lata Mangeshkar also tweeted and prayed for his fast recovery:
