Aamir Khan will promote paddy production in Chhattisgarh

Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan hasbeen offered the role of the brand ambassador of Chhattisgarhto promote paddy production in the state.
"Film star Aamir Khan will be the brand ambassador ofChhattisgarh by March if everything goes well," stateagriculture minister Chandrashekhar Sahu told reporters heretoday.
"It would be like Amitabh Bachchan, who has beenendorsing Gujarat tourism. Aamir will promote paddy productionin Chhattisgarh, where the main occupation of the people isagriculture. A dialogue is underway with Aamir Khan and verysoon he will take a final decision," Sahu said.
Commenting on the opposition's move over the allegedsexual assault on minor inmates in a government-runresidential school in Kanker, Sahu said that the Congressshould not politicise the matter.
He also said that very soon he will organise a functionat Rajim to honour the girls of his constituency and observe a"girl safety day".
