New Delhi:
Ranveer Singh's 'Thug life' moment took place on Friday night at the 9th annual GQ Men Of The Year Award. Ranveer was thrilled to meet superstar Aamir Khan, who also attended the award show, still sporting his Thugs Of Hindostan look highlighted by curly hair and pierced nose. Ranveer shared a selfie with Aamir and captioned it: "'THUG' life #gqawards." Like Aamir, Ranveer too opted for an extreme transformation recently. Ranveer traded his beard and handlebar moustache for a clean shaven look - Ranveer told news agency IANS that it for Padmavati, to play the younger version of Alaudin Khilji. Take a look at Ranveer's selfie:
Here's another moment from Friday night that Ranveer wanted to highlight:
For the GQ awards, Ranveer Singh opted for a suit, which is very subtle for someone like him. Ranveer usually trends for his out-of-the-box wardrobe pieces, which he displays on occasion like these. Remember he wore a kilt at a GQ event, which was too much to handle even for Deepika Padukone (his rumoured girlfriend).
Aamir Khan also ditched his casual style for formals - not a suit but a waistcoat is equally graceful. Aamir generally wears denims and tees for events of all sorts.
Aamir Khan was last seen in Dangal and he's currently filming Yash Raj Films production Thugs Of Hindostan, which is directed by Dhoom: 3's Vijay Krishna Acharya. The film also stars Amitabh Bachchan, Katrina Kaif and Fatima Sana Shaikh. Ranveer Singh will be seen in the aforementioned Padmavati, releasing on December 1.
