Superstar Aamir Khan skipped aspecial cricket match today organised by his son Junaid due tosome urgent work.
Junaid had organised a fund-raiser Twenty20 celebritycricket match that was played today at Brabourne Stadiumbetween Bollywood stars and physically-challenged individuals.
Junaid and his college (HR college) club had put up thematch together, which was aimed at sending a message thatdisability was no handicap.
"I had asked dad when he would be free for this match andhe gave me the date May 1. But he got some work and hencecould not make it here, it's ok," Junaid told PTI.
A star-studded team from Bollywood included Aamir's closefriend Salman Khan and his brothers Arbaaz and Sohail, RaniMukherjee, Esha Kopikkar, Aftab Agnihotri, Prateik Babbar,Atul Kulkarni, TV actors Dilip Joshi and Disha Vakani.
"Aamir has a show coming up," an ecstatic Salman saidhinting that due to Aamir's busy schedule, he could not makeit for the match.
The show Satyameva Jayate, Aamir's debut on TV, will goon air from May 6.
