Aamir Khan, who is busy shooting for his upcoming film Dangal, reached Amritsar a day in advance to visit the iconic Golden Temple. (Also Read: Aamir Khan's 95 Dangal Kilos Are Giving Him Real Trouble ) Aamir paid a visit to the temple on Sunday morning, read a statement.
The Dangal team is to camp in the vicinity for more than two months to film portions of the Nitesh Tiwari-directed biopic.
The film is based on the life of legendary wrestler Mahavir Singh Phogat, who trains his daughters Geeta and Babita into India's most celebrated female wrestling champs.
This will be Aamir's first movie after the 2014 blockbuster PK, which also starred Anushka Sharma and Sushant Singh Rajput.
