Filmmaker Karan Johar reviewed Aamir Khan's Dangal, which is scheduled to release on Christmas, on Twitter, on Monday.
The 44-year-old filmmaker was speechless after he saw Aamir's film on wrestler Mahavir Singh Phogat:
Karan Johar attended the screening of Dangal at Aamir's Mumbai residence last night along with directors Ayan Mukerji and Zoya Akhtar.
Fatima Sana Shaikh and Sanya Malhotra who star as Aamir's onscreen daughters Geeta and Babita Phogat carpooled.
Actor Kunal Kapoor came with his wife Naina, who is Amitabh Bachchan's niece.
Aamir's wife, filmmaker Kiran Rao was also photographed outside her house.
Dangal, directed by Nitesh Tiwari chronicles the story of Haryanvi wrestler Mahavir Phogat, who amid societal resistance coached his daughters in wrestling. Both, Geeta and Babita won at the 2010 Commonwealth Games. Geeta secured a gold medal while Babita won the silver.
The film also stars television actors Sakshi Tanwar and Vivan Bhatena while RJ Aparshakti Khurrana will also be seen as a wrestler in the film.
