Bollywood actor Aamir Khan's Jet Airways flight to flood-ravaged Leh was delayed by three hours after it did not get the clearance to land at Leh airport and when it returned, the aircraft developed a technical problem.
Jet Airways flight 9W1609, carrying Aamir Khan and 62 other passengers took off for Leh at 6:30 am this morning but after an hour it returned to Delhi as the flight was not given the clearance to land at Leh airport, airport sources said.
When the aircraft landed at Delhi, it developed a technical problem and the flight was rescheduled to 9:30 am, a Jet Airways spokesperson said.
The flight carrying Aamir Khan and others finally took off around 9:30 am.
