The Madras High Court on Monday (August 8) stayed the release of Prakash Jha's high-voltage film, Aarakshan.
A financier has alleged default in repayment of a loan of 3.75 crore by Aarakshan's producer.
The film has been produced by Prakash Jha and Firoz A. Nadiadwala. Aarakshan is slated for release on August 12.
The film stars Amitabh Bachchan, Saif Ali Khan, Deepika Padukone and Manoj Bajpai. More details are awaited.
