Actor Neerav Mehta, who playedImran Khan's friend Jignesh in Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na, hasaccused the film's director Abbas Tyrewala of not keeping hispromise of casting him in his next.
The young actor claims that Tyrewala had promised hima role in his next directorial Jhoota Hi Sahi, but did notkeep his words.
Tyrewalla had apparently made a similar promise toactress Sugandha Garg (who played Shalini in Jaane Tu...)"I cannot speak for Sugandha, but if you want to knowabout me, yes, Mr Tyrewalla had promised to cast me in hisnext film," said Neerav.
"When a big and successful filmmaker like Mr Tyrewallapromises you, you do tend to believe him. I blocked my datesand did not sign two big films. But post Jaane Tu..., MrTyrewalla even stopped taking my calls," the actor added.
Tyrewala, whose debut film Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na wasa hit, is busy promoting his second film Jhoota Hi Sahi withJohn Abraham.
The film is about a group of friends staying in Londonand their interpersonal relationships just after college andin to their first job.
