Darlings: Alia Bhatt Announces Trailer Release Date With New Posters

Alia Bhatt is on a roll. After impressing fans with her acting chops, the actress has stepped into the shoes of a producer for her upcoming Netflix film Darlings. And, now, Alia has announced that the trailer of Darlings will be released on July 25, which is a Monday. The actress has shared a series of posters, featuring herself, Shefali Shah, Vijay Varma, and Roshan Mathew. In the caption, Alia wrote, “Abhi ke liye ye photos dekho. Monday ko battings dikhaungi. [For now, just look at the photos.]” The text, on the posters, read, “Trailer out Mondays.”

Vijay Varma was among the first to leave a message under the post. He wrote, " Battings". Neha Dhupia has left a red heart and fire emjoi. Shweta Bachchan followed suit.

Earlier this month, Alia Bhatt treated fans to the first glimpse of her maiden production venture. Alongside the video, Alia wrote, “It's just a tease Darlings. Arriving August 5.” In the teaser, Alia is having a meet-cute with Vijay Varma. Shefali Shah plays Alia's mother in the film, and their on-screen bond is what we are looking forward to.

Alia Bhatt recently came back to Mumbai after wrapping up the shoot for her Hollywood debut Heart of Stone. The film also stars Gal Gadot and Jamie Dornan. Sharing a series of snaps from the sets of the Netflix release, Alia penned a heartwarming note. She wrote, “Heart of Stone - you have my wholeeeeeee heart. Thank you to the beautiful Gal Gadot, my director Tom Harper, Jamir Dornan missed you today, and the whole team for the unforgettable experience. I will be forever grateful for the love and care I received and I can't wait for you all to see the film! But for now, I am coming home baby”

Apart from this, for the first time, Alia Bhatt will share the big screen with her husband, Ranbir Kapoor in Brahmastra. Directed by Ayan Mukherjee, the film is slated to release on September 5. Alia also has Farhan Akhtar's directorial Jee Le Zaraa with Priyanka Chopra and Katrina Kaif in her kitty.
