Actor Abhishek Bachchan shared a throwback picture from the sets of his 2007 film Guru, co-starring Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. The picture shared by the 41-year-old actor is from Guru's last day of shoot. Guru, directed by Mani Ratnam, is loosely based on the life of businessman Dhirubhai Ambani, founder of Reliance Industries. The movie received positive reviews from critics and Abhishek Bachchan's performance was highly praised. In his post on Instagram, the Dostana actor wrote: "#throwbackthursday on the sets of Guru in 2006. This was our last day of shoot in Badami which is where we shot Guru's village before shifting to Chennai. This is a scene when Guru is checking the plans for his 1st factory. Standing just behind me is Ashok Sawant whom we all lovingly call "dada". He's been my make-up artist since my 1st film."

Guru also featured R Madhavan, Vidya Balan, Arya Babbar and Mithun Chakraborty in lead roles. Mallika Sherawat made a guest appearance in the film. Abhishek Bachchan was last seen in 2016 movie Housefull 3, directed by Sajid-Farhad. The film, which was the third installment of the Housefull film series, also featured Akshay Kumar, Jacqueline Fernandez, Nargis Fakhri and Lisa Haydon in lead roles.
Abhishek Bachchan has been roped in by filmmaker Ronnie Screwvala for his next venture. The Dhoom actor will also feature in Nishikant Kamat's next project. His other upcoming movies are - Priyadarshan's Bachchan Singh and Prabhu Deva's Lefty.
According to news agency PTI reports, Abhishek Bachchan will also star in a romantic film which will be directed by Rohit Roy.
