Bollywood heartthrob AbhishekBachchan, a self-confessed Hanuman 'bhakt' (devotee), unveiledthe world's largest statue of the monkey god here today.
The statue was unveiled by the actor at Jakhu templehere amid much fanfare and he was among the first ones tooffer his prayers to Hanuman.
"I strongly believe in Hanumanji and am fullyconvinced that just having unflinching faith in him solves allthe problems," said the 34-year-old actor.
Bachchan said that he was fascinated with the naturalbeauty of Shimla and would definitely visit again with hisfamous family.
"My film LOC was shot in the hill station and I havecome back after nine years," said the actor who will next beseen in the period drama Khelein Hum Jee Jaan Se.
The film directed by Ashutosh Gowariker, revolvesaround the Chittagong uprising of the 1930's.
"I was moved by the history of Chittagong uprising andstrongly felt that the stories of valour and courage shown bygreat revolutionaries must be depicted on big screen," hesaid.
