A source said, "Abhishek not only walked the ramp but also gave his shirt for auction. Initially, it got a bid of only Rs 3 lakh. Abhishek stepped in to donate some extra cash for the cause. He wanted to put in another one lakh."
However, a late bid for Rs 5 lakh finally clinched the deal for a politico. The source added, "Abhishek was happy with the politician's gesture and immediately closed the bid. He handed over the money to the NGO then and there."
