Abhishek is quite excited about the release of Kai Po Che on Febuary 22.

Abhishek Kapoor has revealed thathe was asked to direct a film on Chetan Bhagat's novel 'TwoStates', but refused to do so as he was busy with Kai PoChe, an adaptation of the author's another book 'The 3Mistakes of my Life'.
"It ('Two States') was offered to me but I felt I wasalready working on Chetan's one novel ('The 3 Mistakes..') soI should concentrate on that only," Abhishek said in aninterview here.
"Kai Po Che is a big project. I feel 'Two States' isabout two characters..so it will be a hit. But this film wasmore challenging as a director," he said.
Now, '2 States' is being directed by Abhishek Vermanand produced by Sajid Nadiadwala and Karan Johar. The story isabout a Punjabi boy who falls in love with a Tamil girl andthe ensuing cultural clashes between them and their families.
The cross-culture romance will see Ishaqzaade actorArjun Kapoor opposite Alia Bhatt, who made her debut withKaran Johar's Student of the Year.
The film based on the 2009 novel of the same name byBhagat, is likely to release this year.
