Film actor Arvind Swamy and his estranged wife today appeared before a Family Court in connection with their application seeking divorce.
Arvind Swamy, who has acted in Maniratnam films like Roja, Bombay and Thalapathy and Gayathri Ramamurthy had married in 1994 and have two children.
However, the couple has been living separately since December 2003.
In May last both of them moved the Family Court seeking divorce under mutual consent.
Today, the two appeared before Principal Judge, Family Court, S.Meenakshisundaram, who recorded evidence on their plea.
They sought a decree of divorce dissolving their marriage on grounds of mutual incompatibility. The court adjourned the matter to December 10 for orders.
