Bangalore:
The Karnataka High Court today adjourned the bail application of Kannada actor Darshan to October 6.
Darshan was arrested for allegedly assaulting and pulling a gun on his wife Vijayalakshmi, on September 9.
Justice B V Pinto adjourned the bail plea after directing Special Public Prosecutor Chandramouli to file objection against Darshan's bail plea in the next two weeks.
Yesterday, the actor was taken to the Paarapana Agrahara Jail after getting discharged from the state-run Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Chest Diseases where he was undergoing treatment for asthma and jaundice, since September 10.
Darshan, who was arrested following his wife Vijayalakshmi's complaint, was denied bail by the Sessions court yesterday (September 20).
Earlier, a Magisterial court also had rejected Darshan's bail application, after which the actor moved the Karnataka High Court for bail.
