Kamaal Rashid Khan has been booked for his casteist remarks

Actor Kamaal Rashid Khan has beenbooked for allegedly making casteist and defamatory remarksagainst the lead actor of Hindi film Raanjhanaa in hisreview of the movie posted on YouTube, police said today.
According to the police, a case under Section 66 A of theIT Act and others has been registered against Khan at theSeema Puri Police Station of North-East Delhi on Monday.
Police indicated that Khan could be arrested in this case.The complaint has been file by one Dr Bheemrao AmbedkarVichaar Manch which said that the Khan made casteist remarksagainst an actor in his review of the recently-released'Raanjhanaa' movie posted on the popular video sharing website.
The 8.52 minute video was uploaded on YouTube on July 29,police said.According to R L Kane, who is the secretary of DrBheemrao Ambedkar Vichaar Manch, the complaint was filed afterthey sent an e-mail regarding the issue to the newly-appointedPolice Commissioner BS Bassi.
The Commissioner later directed the cops to takenecessary action in the case following which Station HouseOfficer (SHO) Seema Puri is investigating the case.
