New Delhi: South actor Nithya Menon, mainly known for her work in Malayalam films, has been banned by the Kerala Film Producers' Association for not meeting a producer who wanted to sign her for a film.
According to reports, a producer went to meet Nithya to discuss about a movie recently. The actress, who was at that time shooting for her film Thalsamayam Penkutty, refused to meet him.
Shocked at Nithya's reported arrogant behaviour, the producer lodged a complaint against her with the Kerala Film Producers' Association. The association then imposed a ban on Nithya. They have also requested the South Indian Film Chamber to ban the actor from all South films.
