New Delhi:
Malayalam actress Gauthami Nair married long-term boyfriend, director Srinath Rajendran in a private ceremony at her residence in Alappuzha, Kerala on Sunday. The wedding was followed by a reception in the Kovilakam Resort, which was attended by close friends and family. Gauthami and Srinath, who avoided sharing details of the private ceremonies on social media, were reported to be in a long-term relationship. However, pictures from the wedding and reception party have been shared on social media, making Gauthami and Srinath's wedding a trending topic. Gauthami made her acting debut playing the role of Geethanjali Janardhanan in 2012's Second Show, which was directed by Srinath and also marked Dulquer Salmaan's maiden film. It was also Srinath's debut project as a director.
Gauthami and Srinath were traditionally dressed in white on their wedding day. The newly-weds could not look happier as they posed for a picture together. Gauthami was beautiful as she accessorised with gold jewellery, the mangalsutra and gajra.
A change of clothes later, Gauthami and Srinath were ready for the reception party. Gauthami looked resplendent in a yellow and blue while Srinath was partially colour-coordinated with his bride.

Gauthami Nair has starred in films like Chapters, Campus Diary and Diamond Necklace, for which she won the Best Supporting Actress award at the Malayalam version of the Filmfare Awards. Srinath Rajendran has also directed Gauthami in 2014 mystery thriller Koothara, which remains his last-helmed film so far.
