Serial-cinema actress and dubbing artiste Thodupuzha PK Radhadevi, 64, died at the residence of her second daughter Sasikala on Sunday night. She was suffering from cancer and kidney problems.
Though Radhadevi made her entry to fame via drama, she later made her entry into film industry in 1971. She worked with KPAC and Kalidasa Kala Kendram.
After her first film <i>Aromalunni</i>, she went on to act in more than 300 films. She played the leading lady in <i>Chayam</i> opposite Adoor Bhasi. Other credits to her name are films like <i>Swapnam, Mazhakaaru, Nellu, Moham, Chuzhi, Kilichundan Maambazham, Soofi Paranja katha</i> and <i>Oral Maathram</i>.
Radhadevi also won the Sangeetha Nataka Academy award and dubbed for more than six hundred films.
She is survived by her four children Saarika, Sasikala, Santhosh and Rekha (serial actress).
