Skyfall producer Paul Epworth hasrevealed that singer Adele recorded her vocals for the film'stheme song in just ten minutes.
Epworth said that the Grammy award-winning singerimmediately loved the track, and had the lyrics ready in herhead when she drove over to the studio, reported Digital Spyonline.
"Within 10 minutes, she put down most of the vocals. Itwas the most absurd thing. She's fast, but it was really quitephenomenal," said Epworth.
The producer also said that he was surprised by Adele'ssultry delivery in the song's opening bars.
"She has an old soul. She never really mentioned she couldsing the Shirley Bassey-esque slurs that she does in theopening. She's actually a very controlled vocalist. She has alot of finesse and skill. She's not just a powerhouse - it's alot of careful technique. That's why she's an amazingvocalist. It's all control," he added.
Skyfall earned a Golden Globe nomination and is tippedto be one of the tracks in the running for the title of 'BestOriginal Song' at next year's Oscars - a title that has neverbeen won by a Bond theme.
"I had never dreamt of awards. To get the call (made it)feel like we came up with the goods," Epworth added.
