R&B star Rihanna says Adele'sGrammy winning album's heartbreaking lyrics struck too much ofa chord with her and she had to give herself a break from hersongs.
The 24-year-old says she could identify with the lyricsof the record breaking album 21 and eventually had to stoplistening to it, reported Us magazine.
"I love her (Adele). I'm a big fan...Her last album, 21,spoke to me so much. I feel like everyone in the worldidentified with 21, to the point that I had to stop listeningbecause it was depressing me so much. If you identify with it,sometimes you don't want to hear about it," Rihanna said.
The singer, who has a very rough break-up withex-boyfriend Chris Brown, recently said she wants to startdating again.
"I have such incredible experiences in my life. But youwant to share your life with someone. That's what I'm missingright now," she added.
