Adipurush Song Ram Siya Ram: Prabhas And Kriti Sanon's Love Story Is One For The Ages

The song offers an insight into Raghav and Janaki's exile in the forest

Prabhas and Kriti Sanon are the lead actors in the cinematic retelling of the Indian epic Ramayana titled Adipurush, which has been making headlines since the release of the first look several months ago. Now, the makers of the film have released the second song from the album – Ram Siya Ram. The song offers an insight into Raghav and Janaki's exile in the forest, where they are shown to spend several lovely moments, reveling in the wonders of nature. However, as the story goes the two are separated and the song also shows the couple pining for each other. While Janaki is seen shedding tears thinking of Raghav, Raghav prepares for war to rescue his wife. The song also shows Hanuman serving as the messenger between the couple.

The song, composed by Sachet Tandon and Parampara Tandon, has also been sung by the duo. The lyrics are by Manoj Muntashir Shukla. Ram Siya Ram has been released in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam.

Adipurush has been directed by Om Raut and features Prabhas as Raghav, Kriti Sanon as Janaki, Sunny Singh as Shesh, Devdatta Nage as Hanuman, and Saif Ali Khan as Lankesh.

Previously, the makers had released another song from the album composed by Ajay-Atul. Titled Jai Shri Ram, the song shows Raghav preparing for the battle to bring his Janaki back. Set against the backdrop of the battle preparation, we also see glimpses of Janaki waiting for Raghav  to rescue her. 
 

Adipurush is all set to premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival on June 13. The magnum opus is scheduled for a theatrical release in IMAX and 3D formats on June 16.The film has been produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Om Raut, Prasad Sutar, and Rajesh Nair of Retrophiles. The film will be released in multiple languages including Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam, and will also be available in 3D.
