"I never looked at it as career, I did it for fun. It wasabout having a new experience. I had good time, enjoyed it.Half the people did not know I was a VJ so there was no imagemade for me, I was a fresh face," he said.
Although his debut film London Dreams bombed at thebox office, it made Aditya realise he wanted to continueacting.
He went on to do yet another film with Shah- ActionReplayy alongside Akshay Kumar and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan andthen Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Guzaarish.Unfortunately all the three films where Aditya wasseen in a supporting role, failed to click with the audience."I never looked at it (London Dreams) like my launchpad. I just did it for fun and experience. My expectationswere not high so my disappointments were also not low. Butthen it was like you want your film do well," he said.
"But it did... and it was disappointing. You take itin a stride. I had got more serious about acting after Istarted doing Action Replay and Guzaarish... I was likethis is going to be my profession and I was sad. The filmsthat come up do not do well then I will be really sad," headded.
But the 27-year-old does not regret doing any of thefilms and insists he had great experience while working.Today at a time when actors are coming on smallscreen, Aditya is happy to be where he is right now and feelsit is right time to be in film industry.
