Aerosmith to have a vintage sound on 14th studio album
London: Rock band Aerosmith are going to have a "vintage sound" on their 14th studio album, says band's frontman Steven Tyler.

Tyler said the Walk This Way rockers, who are currently working on their first record since 2004's Honkin' on a Bobo, will sound like they are well and truly back in the music industry, reported Contactmusic.

"We've been in the studio for the last month. We're going to have a vintage sound, 'cause we're going to tape and a lot of good things like that. We're keeping tracks lean, not a lot of overdubs. So you're going to hear some stuff where you might think Aerosmith's back," Tyler said.

The 63-year-old also said he is having a good time penning tracks for the band again.

"I'm having such a good time writing again. You got the songs right now where they're like shells, with no lyrics and no melody, and I get to fill in the blanks like I did with Back in the Saddle when it was just a track," Tyler added.
