Mumbai:
Television actor Vivan Bhatena would be seen playing a grey character in Aamir Khan's Dangal.
Vivan, 37, was last seen in Sooraj Pancholi and Athiya Shetty's Hero as a villain.
"I am doing Dangal with Aamir Khan. It's kind of a negative character, but I can't reveal much. I have finished one scene with him and have couple of more scenes to finish. I am playing a wrestler for which I have to put on weight. I have to gain ten kilos with muscles," Vivan told PTI.
"He (Aamir) is going to lose weight, he would come in shape. He is doing a lot of things. We have a month of akhada (wrestling arena) training with actual wrestlers. We have to get our Haryanvi diction right. I would go back to shoot for the film in June," he said. (Also Read: Aamir Khan's 95 Dangal Kilos Are Giving Him Real Trouble)
Vivan, who has been part of shows like Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi and Kumkum, is happy with the response he is getting for his work.
"I got a lot of acclaim for Hero. It was gratifying. Aamir praised my work in Katti Batti, which was overwhelming. I hope I keep getting good work. I am trying to pitch myself as a negative hero. I want that space," he said.
The Chak De! India actor reveals that he was going to be part of director Vikramaditya Motwane's next film Bhavesh Joshi but the movie got shelved.
"I was going to do Vikramaditya Motwane's Bhavesh Joshi, but that is shelved for the time being," he said.
Vivan, who is also one of the participants on season 7 of reality show Khatron Ke Khiladi said that he is very excited about it and will give his best shot.
