New Delhi: Folks, hold your breath for Fawad Khan brings good news. If you thought that Fawad only has Karan Johar's Ae Dil Hai Mushkil in the pipeline, you are mistaken. Fawad has been roped in to star in a film produced by Salman Khan and helmed by Filmistaan director Nitin Kakkar.

Khoobsurat, Fawad.

In an interview with Bollywoodlife, Mr Kakkar confirmed the news, also sharing that Fawad will start shooting for the film next year: "We go on floors with Fawad sometime next year. He is locked in. We are currently in the process of getting an actress on board."

Talking about the film, he told Bollywoodlife: "This is an urbane love story. But more than that, it's an interesting take on relationships between a boy and a girl."

Fawad was reportedly being considered for another project of Salman Khan Films, Jugalbandi. Fawad however, is not part of the film as confirmed by a source. Bollywoodlife quotes a source as saying: "Amar Butala, who's heading SKF, has been in constant touch with Fawad and it's true that the two have finally decided to work together. But it's not for Jugalbandi. Fawad has greenlit Filmistaan director Nitin Kakkar's next film instead."
