Karan Johar, who turned had a full-fledged role in filmmaker Anurag Kashyap's Bombay Velvet, has now expressed his desire to be directed by Gauri Shinde.

Gauri, who has made English Vinglish, starring Sridevi, praised Karan's performance in the film on Twitter:
