Bollywood star Hrithik Roshan, whohas played myriad roles in his 12-year-long career, givingextraordinary performances in various movies, still feels thathe is a bad actor.
The actor played an aspiring singer in his debut film,Kaho Na Pyaar Hai and went on to essay roles of a challengedboy in Koi Mil Gaya, a superhero in Krrish, a Mughalemperor in Jodha Akbar, a conman in Dhoom, a quadriplegicin Guzaarish and a workaholic in Zindagi Milegi Na Dobara,taking everyone by surprise with his power-packed acts. But hethinks he is lacking even today.
"I feel I am a very bad actor. My premise is that I canact well only when I am in a character. I have to knoweverything about the character so if I am not living I cantact it. I have to be that person... if I am not the personthen I will be doing bad acting," Hrithik said in aninterview.
Hrithik also admitted that he can't imitate anyone.
"If you ask me to imitate I can't do it. Some may do itas they have talent. I get into the character completely thenonly I can act. I try to understand the character and then doit," he said.
In his initials days he rocked at the box office, butthe later releases could not ape the success of his debutmovie. However, after a dull period he struck again and iscounting his blessings.
