After UP fiasco, Delhi excites Big B
New Delhi: Legendary actor Amitabh Bachchan had a fruitful outing while promoting his new film Aarakshan in New Delhi.

An excited Amitabh Bachchan tweeted, "Another day of endless debate and interviews on #aarakshan ... scintillating, informative, educational and emotional," post participating in a debate on a TV show for the movie.

"The movie has a certificate from the censor board. We have a censor approval, what else should we do," Amitabh said in Delhi.

The superstar and his Aarakshan team were earlier shown the door while trying to promote their film in UP.

The star had earlier expressed his disappointment over the Mayawati government's diktat to cancel the Lucknow interaction with students, citing possible law and order problems.

"Feel disappointed that we are not allowed to promote film in UP, Lucknow. Admin feels will excite and cause law and order problem," he had tweeted.

"But we must follow the law of the land and the principles that our Constitution is based on, will go straight to Delhi now!" he quickly added later on.

"They say it is a sensitive subject and do not want us to enter the city even, without even seeing the film, duly censored? Strange."

"The administration does not allow us to enter the city; unofficial reports by police say they have instructions to arrest us if we do."

The run-up to Prakash Jha's film has been resplendent with controversies just like the subject of his films.

The movie, which will release on August 12, has been marked by protests by certain minority groups, who are objecting to the subject of the film -- a socio-political drama based on issue of caste-based reservations in government jobs and educational institutions.
