Life has changed a fair bit since then. Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Mini Mathur have been married to Abhishek Bachchan and Kabir Khan for a while and have children. Preity Zinta married Gene Goodenough last year and now shuttles between Mumbai and USA.
Aishwarya and Preity have been friends a long time - Preity was among the handful of guests invited from Bollywood when Aishwarya married Abhishek in 2007. Preity and Abhishek, pals and co-stars from films such as Jhoom Barabar Jhoom, had this hilarious Twitter exchange last year after the actress said she had a 'girl crush' on Aishwarya and was watching the teaser of her film Ae Dil Hai Mushkil on repeat.
Hey @juniorbachchan Happy Ganesh Chaturthi I'm watching the #Aedilhaimushkil promo in a loop & I think I have a girl crush on Ash #bachaao

As Preity Zinta's Instagram proves, she and the Bachchans still hang out during festivals and special occasions. She also watched a kabaddi match played by a team Abhishek owns.
Preity Zinta, star of films such as Dil Chahta Hai and Kal Ho Naa Ho, will soon be making her comeback to the big screen with the Neerraj Pathak-directed Bhaiyyaji Superhitt, co-starring Sunny Deol. She last made a cameo appearance in 2014 movie Happy Ending. Preity's last full-fledged role was in 2013 film Ishqk In Paris.
In an interview with news agency IANS, Preity Zinta said that she had decided to quit acting after marrying Gene Goodenough but that he encouraged her to return to films. "I am happy and lucky that I am married to somebody who pushed me back into doing a movie... Because I thought I don't want to do any more films and I moved to the business side of life," IANS quoted Preity as saying.
Preity Zinta's Bhaiyyaji Superhitt is scheduled to release on December 1.
