New Delhi:
If, like us, you're missing Aishwarya Rai Bachchan on the red carpet, take heart. The new mom will be at the Cannes Film Festival in May this year, like she's been the last 10 years.
Ash, who has been attending the festival since 2002 as the global face of L'Oreal, is likely to travel with her five-month-old daughter, commonly called Beti B, who's real name she and the Bachchan family still refuse to reveal. This will be the little Bachchan's second time abroad, after travelling to Dubai with her mother earlier this year.
Ash has had a hit and miss relationship with fashion with a series of disastrous ensembles her first few Cannes years. She fell pregnant just when she began getting it right (see pictures below). Post pregnancy, Ash has been criticised for her wardrobe choices in the few public appearances she has made. We hope to see her transform from frumpy back to fabulous at Cannes.

Arjun Rampal and Bengali beauty Bipasha Basu will also be at Cannes this year.
Arjun will be attending the festival as the ambassador of liquor brand Chivas, the official partner for the event. He is likely to be accompanied by his designer friend Rohit Bal.
The actor had recently expressed a desire to showcase his upcoming film Heroine at the Cannes. "I would love to be (a part of Cannes festival). That is a film that deserves to be there. If Heroine can be showcased there, it will be great," said Arjun.
Ironically, Heroine was announced at Cannes last year by director Madhur Bhandarkar, and Ash who was then the leading lady of the film. She was later replaced with Kareena Kapoor after revealing she was pregnant.
Bipasha will most likely be there to promote her new film opposite Hollywood hottie Josh Hartnett, Singularity.
