Ajay Devgn stars in Sajid Khan's remake of '80s hit Himmatwala.

Actor Ajay Devgn, who would beseen in the remake version of Himmatwala, got nostalgicwhile working on the film.
Himmatwala is an upcoming action romantic filmdirected by Sajid Khan. The film features Ajay Devgn oppositesouthern actress Tamannaah in the lead roles.
It is an official remake of the 1983 Hindi blockbusterof the same name, which itself was a remake of a Telugu filmOoriki Monagadu of 1981. The 1983 Himmatwala had Jeetendraand Sridevi in the lead.
The first-look of Sajid Khan's remake version of theyesteryear film was unveiled today at Gaiety Galaxy theatre insuburban Bandra.
"It was nostalgic during this film. As the film is setin 80s, it did remind me of my earlier movies when I hadstarted in the industry. Then I had gone on the sets ofHimmatwala as my father was action director for that movie.I had also come to single screen theatre Gaiety Galaxy to seethe reaction of the audience for my debut film Phool aurKante," Ajay told reporters here.
The film will have Ajay stepping in the role ofJeetendra. "We have not tried to copy anyone. I have wornwhite shirt and pants but not white shoes," Ajay said.
Ajay and Tamannaah shot the famous song Taki O TakiRe in Jaipur, while the team shot Tathaiya Tathaiyasong in Mumbai.
"Dancing is difficult for me than acting. It stressesme out," Ajay said.
However, director Sajid Khan said, "Ajay dances like asuperstar."
The film, jointly produced by UTV Motion Pictures andVashu Bhagnani, is set to release on March 29 this year.
