Ajay Devgn says he does not like two films to be pitted against each other

Actor Ajay Devgn says he wants no twobig banner movies to be pitted against each other to ensurethat nobody in the industry suffers.
After the long-drawn battle over the allotment of screensbetween his Son of Sardaar and Jab Tak Hai Jaan, gossipmills are abuzz that his upcoming Rohit Shetty film Singham2 is likely to hit screens next year on Independence Dayalong with Akshay Kumar's Gabbar.
"We are thinking about it (release on Independence Day).Let's see what happens as we are yet to begin shooting. Iwould like to clarify that there is no clash with anyone ofus," Ajay told PTI.
Asked if he is ensuring that his film does not releasewith another big project next time, Ajay said, "I would wantno two films to get released together so that nobody suffersas this is one industry. But if you have to clash then youhave to go all out like I did with Son of Sardaar and cameout victorious."
The 44-year-old actor insists that he has been fightingfor his right and asking only for a fair view on the matter."I feel the issue needs to be sorted out and that is whyI am in court. It wasn't going to help me alone. By going tocourt I am spending money not for Son of Sardaar but becauseI had seen this problem earlier. And I feel this problem isgoing to multiply and whoever did not believe in it willsuffer," Ajay said.
Though Rohit and Ajay are known to be thick friends butthe actor has not seen Shah Rukh Khan's ChennaiExpress yet.
"I have not seen it but I have heard that it has donewell. I am happy that it's doing very well," he said.On the second installment of Milan Luthria's Once Upon ATime in Mumbaai, the actor did not comment much.
"I won't say that the spark was missing from the film. Afilm depends on lot of things from script to release date tolots of other things. I don't want to comment on this matter,"he added.
Meanwhile, the actor is looking forward to the release ofPrakash Jha's political drama Satyagraha."A great balance between keeping it real and stillmaking it commercial and that is what Prakash Jha is good at.I like doing aggressive films. His films have that aggressionand it very well targets the youth.
"Because today's youth is aggressive and is concerned withwhats happening in the country which was not happening 20years back," Ajay said.
On whether it's going make an impact, Ajay said, "I don'tknow about the difference (it's going to make in the society)but it will entertain them. And people who are concerned aboutall this will get a message will get a guideline how to getahead with it."
