Singham star Ajay Devgn, who is one of the most versatile actors in Bollywood, will be seen playing the role of a cable operator in the much awaited film Drishyam.
A source close to the film revealed, "Ajay plays Vijay Salgaonkar, a fourth grade dropout who is a movie buff and a cable operator by profession. He is a common man who leads a happy life with his wife and two daughters in a quiet township of Goa. He will be seen portraying an intense character in the film."
Directed by Nishikant Kamat, Drishyam also features Cheeni Kum actress Tabu in the role of IG Meera Deshmukh, along with Shriya Saran, Rajat Kapoor and others. The film is slated to hit screens on July 31, while the trailer is expected to release June 4.
