New Delhi:
"No one will be forgiven," says actress Sonakshi Sinha when she tweeted the first poster of her upcoming film Akira on Tuesday. Sonakshi, who plays the protagonist in the action film, provided an insight into her character, saying: "She will fight back."
The poster features Sonakshi with bloodshot eyes and a determined expression on her face while actress Konkona Sen Sharma and filmmaker-actor Anurag Kashyap appear in the background. Sonakshi also revealed when we can expect the film's trailer. The date is not too far.
Sonakshi shared a teaser poster of the movie earlier this month:
Akira will mark Sonakshi's second collaboration with director A R Murugadoss, who previously made Holiday: A Soldier Is Never Off Duty with the actress and Akshay Kumar.
Akira also stars Sonakshi's father, actor-politician Shatrughan Sinha, and releases on September 2.
Sonakshi Sinha, 29, was last seen in 2015's Tevar. She also featured in a song in All Is Well. Her upcoming films are Force 2, co-starring John Abraham, and Noor, in which she plays a journalist.
