The superstar is auctioning a breakfastdate with himself to raise money for the cause of childrenwith special needs.
The 44-year-old actor decided to do the good deed tomark the 'Joy of Giving' week. Bollywood is celebrating it ina big way and Dabangg superstar Salman Khan had recentlyauctioned a gym session for the same.
Akshay has collaborated with online marketplace eBayfor the auction and all proceeds will go to the ResearchSociety, a charitable organization working with children andindividuals with special needs.
"I want everyone out there who would love breakfastwith me to bid on this charity auction. All you have to do isbid and you could be breaking bread with me at the Marriottone Sunday morning," said Akshay, who is father to 8-year-oldson Aarav with wife Twinkle Khanna.
The auction started on September 22, 2010 and will endon Sept 29, 2010. The bidding started at Rs 1001.
The breakfast date with Akshay Kumar will also allowthe winning bidder to bring along three more guests for thestarry meal.
