Akshay Kumar was at Eden Gardens to promote his upcoming film Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai 2.

It might be Shah Rukh Khan versus Akshay Kumar onscreen if Akshay's Once Upon A Time in Mumbaai 2 releases along with SRK's Chennai Express, but it was all about the King Khan on the opening day of Indian Premiere League in Kolkata.
Once Upon A Time in Mumbaai 2 stars Akshay, Sonakshi Sinha and Imran Khan made it to the Eden Gardens stadium to promote their film, but the cameras did not pan to the stars at all. Even their 'Once Upon A Time In IPL' T-shirts did not grab the attention of the shutterbugs. It was either the cricket or Shah Rukh Khan whose team Kolkata Knight Riders was playing against Delhi Daredevils.
Looks like Akshay and his team will have to wait for a different game, because this one went to SRK.
