Akshay Kumar, who starred in the Hindi remake of Suriya's Tamil film Soorarai Pottru, recently revealed that a few producers haven't cleared his dues yet. The actor, who is one of the highest-paid stars of this generation, called this act a "cheating" and he doesn't want to keep in touch with them. During an episode of Abundantia Entertainment's Sarfiri Baatein ft. Ghazal Alagh, Akshay was asked, "Has anybody in your business cheated you?" The actor admitted, "Ek do producers ki payment nahin aati hain and it's cheating only. (It has happened to me. A few producers haven't cleared my dues yet)."
Akshay Kumar added, "Main uske baad usse baat hi nahin karta, chup ho jaata hoon apna side mein nikal jaata hoon... ek do producers ki payment nahin aati hain and that is cheating only... (I just don't talk to that person, who cheats me. I go quiet.. it has happened to me. A few producers haven't cleared my dues)."
Akshay Kumar recently talked about his box office success and failures in an interview with Forbes. The actor told Forbes, "Behind every film there is a lot of blood, sweat and passion that goes in. It is heart-breaking to see any film fail. But you have to learn to see the silver lining. Every failure teaches you the value of success and increases the hunger for it even further. Luckily, I learnt to deal with it earlier on in my career. Of course, it hurts and impacts you, but that won't change the fate of the film."
The actor also revealed how he channelises his failure to motivate him to move on in life. "It's not something which is in your control... what is in your control is to work harder, make amends and give it your all to your next film. That's how I channel my energy and try to move on to the next, focusing my energy where it matters the most, said Akshay Kumar."
Akshay Kumar will next be seen in Welcome 3, Khel Khel Mein, and Housefull 5. He will also feature in Rohit Shetty's Singham Again.
