New Delhi: "Why was Rustom accused of being a traitor?" asks actor Akshay Kumar when he tweeted a new poster of his upcoming romantic thriller Rustom on Tuesday. The poster only intensifies the mystery about Rustom, the character which is played by Akshay.
Akshay, who occupies most of the frame, can also be seen walking along a deserted road in the poster. Marks of gun shots, a newspaper article and a band which says "traitor" in bright read add much drama to the otherwise simple picture.

Actresses Ileana D'Cruz and Esha Gupta are Akshay's co-stars in Rustom. Directed by Tinu Suresh Desai, the film releases on August 12 when it will clash with Hrithik Roshan's Mohenjo Daro.
